I usually help others with their unplanned pregnancy, but it seems I might be in the same predictiment.
My last "normal" period was somewhere around October 3oth and it's pretty regular although I've had long cycles in the past. By normal I mean moderate to heavy bleeding with cramps. Then on November 11th I had unprotected sex with my monogamous and long-term partner and he might of not pulled out in time. I was in a car accident November 25, which totalled my car but fortuantly wasn't hurt. And although my period came a couple of days later, it was unusual in that it was shorter than usual with spotting and only one day of normal bleeding (just enough to fill one pad). Now it's December and not only has my period not come yet, but I've been nauseous for the last 4 days (some during the day but moderatly at night). At first I thought the nausea might be related to the holiday feasting, but that's past. Also, I've been having tenderness in my breasts and some mild cramping. Does this sound like pregnancy or PMS to you? And what about my weird last period?

It sure is possible that you are pregnant. Have you tired taking a test? If you're feeling nauseated due to being pregnant then it's likely to show up on a test by now. Sometimes a late period or funny cycles in general can cause breast tenderness but that wouldn't explain the nausea. Mild cramping can be an early pregnancy symptom as well but it can be hard to tell the difference between early pregnancy and PMS because they can be so similar. Never was i more sure that my period was comming than those times when i turned out to be pregnant. My current pregnancy felt the same. I had some spotting mild cramping and was a little bloated. So, i 'casually took a HPT thinking i was just humouring myself but was uttterly shocked to see two lines instead of one. I don't know how you can be so patient.If i was wondering if i was pregnant i would have taken 5 tests by now allready lol. How do you feel about the possibility of being pregnant? Let us know how you go :)

Thank you for responding. My nausea has finally subsided and I have my appetite back (maybe it was holiday indegestion after all. I tend towards having a sensative stomach). I'm still having the mild cramping and a lower back ache. Also, I've got constipation and gas :-P Yeah, it's hard to tell whether all of this is just PMS or actual pregnancy.
No, I haven't taken a test yet. I'm kinda hestitant to take a test until after this period is due, so I'm not jumping the gun in case I'm wrong. But at the same time, I feel an urgency to find out sooner than later because of a couple of medications I'm on for my depression are classified as class C for pregnancy. I have mixed feelings towards being pregnant: nervous, excited, anxious, and scared. My boyfriend and I are trying to avoid pregnacy, but I think we're at a point in our lives where we could handle one with some struggle should it happen. Does that make sense? LOL, thanks for sharing. I'm trying to be patient :-P I'll just be relieved when it's all over and I find out for sure either I get my period or I take a test.

You're well past the point now where it would be effective. As one on the other end of two unplanned pregnancies, I can attest that life is quite joyous on the other end. Ladies,
Thank you for all your kindness and support. I found an extra test I had stashed under my bed and went ahead and took it on December 29 and it was negative, thank goodness! My period did finally come just a couple days ago and with severe cramping :( But I have some great news...My boyfriend proposed w/a ring on December 30! No date is set yet, but we're looking at possibly August or September. And in June, I'm going back onto NuvaRing. So thanks again and take care!
