Mary~
I bet you are ecstatic!!!! I am so happy for you! I'm sure you feel relieved! They should be able to tell the baby's sex by then. I found out with my first at 19 weeks, my second and third at 18 weeks and my fourth at 17 weeks! However, they will probably send you somewhere to get an ultrasound done and there they will tell you the sex...atleast that's how I had it done. It really all depends on the dr. They usually want to check the baby's size and weight to see if your projected due date is accurate. Are you on any kind of prenatal vitamin? If not, you need to either call your dr and have him/her prescribe them or you can get them over the counter.
Mary, please continue to keep us posted! We love hearing updates.
God bless,
Tracey

That's great news Mary. I started my prenatal care lateish allthough i was seeing a normal doc from the very begining as i had alot of bleeding in the first 4 months on and off. I can't believe how quick that time has gone. I found out my babys sex at the 18 week scan too :) Have you thought any more about your decision to raise your baby yourself as oppossed to adoption? Good luck honey.
