Had an ok time of it during his delivery but i was so scared and nervous. Ultimately everything has gone as well as i could have hoped. One thing i wasn't prepared for was the feeling of being so very alone. Don't get me wrong i am very much ok and very happy with my little cherub. I just didn't realise how such a blessed event would amplify the fact that i don't have anyone to share this with. It's like the silence (metaphorically) is deafening and here i am. I have the most beautiful child honestly he couldn't be more perfect in my eyes and yet i also a deep realisation of who i can count on in this life which is no one ~bar myself and my dog. Will email you some pictures :)

I had a baby alone. For the most part I did well. But I did have a meltdown at the hospital when most of the nursery was filled with loving husbands who were by their wives sides, while I was so alone. I pray for God to comfort you and provide strength to get through the lonely feeling. It's only normal to want to share this with someone. My advice is to lean on God. Focus on Him, your children, and yourself. I truly believe a wonderful future is in store for you. Sincerely, Shellie

You may not have that special someone to share the event with today, in the present, but he will come soon enough and he will embrace your child as his own. My current DH is not the bio father of my 2nd child, but he is her father, her daddy, her everything. I think they fell in love before he and I did. He loves to look at her pictures from the time period of her birth on up to when he came into her life. A few years ago, I heard him telling our youngest son about the pictures, and he told it as if he were there experiencing the event himself. I asked him about that and he said, "Well, I've heard about it and watched the videos and looked at the pictures, in my mind, I was there, I didn't miss anything". Congrats and good luck. Motherhood is one of the most blessed journeys. I am continually blessed and humbled by my children.

I don't know if i will ever meet Mr Right, i am too afraid of having a loving man one minute and the next he will just turn on me. I don't get out enough to make new friends even. It appears that despite being a geniune person i am destined to be something of a loner. I can only assume that there must be a reason or that i am meant to learn something from this (?)in this life. Still i must remember that i am lucky in other ways, i have beautiful children who are for the most part realy well behaved, some people don't have children either. My baby is strapped to my front right now lol he has been unsettled all night and i wasn't getting anything done at all today untill i put him in his sling, thank god for them! It appears that he had alot of wind last night anyone know of any tricks to getting it out of him?? He almost never burps it allways comes out the other end which wasn't causing a problem untill now. Then of course after an hour of trying to relieve his sore tummy he becomes over tired on top of it all.. sigh.. oh well, he's still such a good baby really he doesn't scream for hours on end and can be consoled one way or another it's just that i have to keep consoling him for hours and am very sleep deprived right now. Can't catch up during the day because i have my other children to care for. Still ok though just wish i could help him more with his wind pains.
