Tracey,

I am doing well, I am still pregnant about 7 and a half months. This pregnancy has lasted the longest and my doctor has told me that I am past the stage where many complications occur. So we are hoping and praying! Aaron and I are doing good. We moved back to the eastern shore of Maryland and he's commuting to Arlington VA for college a couple times a week. Once the baby is born I am going to be looking into going back so I can finish up my undergraduate work and apply for Nursing School. We decided that we didnt want to know if we were having a girl or boy this time. We want to be surprised when he/she comes out. My belly has gotten big lol. Aaron keeps rubbing it at night and I've got a sore spot because he always does it in the same spot :). I am happy and I can't wait for the baby to get here. My family decided to give me a baby shower right after the baby is born because we have heard its bad luck to give a baby shower before the due date if you've lost a child before. Well I gotta get to work. I hope all is well!

Hi Amber!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! 7.5 months is great! That's how old my son was born at, so your in a good zone now. I'm so happy for you, Amber. And Aaron.

We waited with our first two to find out what they were, too, and it was VERY special. We found out with the second two, and that was special, too, for it's own reasons.

I'm very thankful to hear that you guys are settled in and have family around to rejoice with you. I agree wholeheartedly with Tracey; it's long overdue. :)

Please do keep us posted! I'll be joining the countdown with you now.

With Love,

Heather

Hey guys,

Sorry I havent written back yet. I've been kinda lazy the last couple months lol. Oh, I thought I was having twins for a while and so did my doctor but Dr. Mullen says his nurse may of mistaken my heart baby for another babies. That's what happened with Deanna, they told me she was still alive and could hear the heart beating and come to find out it was mine. We're thinking of Oktober for a girl and either Nathan or Benjamin for a boy. Everything is going really good between me and Aaron. He is still seeing a psychiatrist for his "Anger" problems but he's seemed to of settled down a lot and he's so excited about this baby he keeps telling everyone he sees that he's going to be a daddy so I take that as a good sign lol. I will keep you all posted!

Love you all

Amber

Wow... is it hard to adjust to the idea that there is just one baby when you thought it was twins... or was it more of a relief? You tend to think that they usually can see this with ultrasounds and all these days, but I guess they still miss things sometimes.

Good names. My son's name is Nathaniel, and he goes by Nathan. I don't really like the nickname "Nat" and I would tell people that it was the one concern I had about naming him Nathaniel, that I thought "Nat" sounded like a but. The day I got out of the hospital the BC comic said, "Gnat... "a gnickname for Gnathaniel." I about died laughing... was he listening or something? LOL Anyway, just thought I'd share that. I love the name Nathan, though. Benjamin is good, too.

I know it will be a big relief for you when the baby is finally here. Try not to anticipate all of the problems... even with a prior loss it is much more likely at 7.5 months that everything will be fine. So, try to relax if you can (usually much easier said, than done.)

Take care and God's blessings,
Melanie

Hot diggety dog! Hi, Amber! I'm really happy for you. Your baby is old enough to be born and do fine. At this point, s/he might still require special care, but the chances of being healthy are very great.

I know you have had a lot of heartbreak, and things have been really tough, so I am especially glad things are finally going well for you. Let us know as soon as your baby is born!

We love you!

Hugs,
Pat
