I found this one funny, not on the level of the classics XF comedies but not bad. I was still upset that this is the penultimate ep and could have been used for setting up the finale. Will those 2 hours be enough? Perhaps more than enough if it stinks.

I think the swipe at TV fans was part of the joke. JD is that kind of guy, he's got more important things to do. MR & DS being into the Bradys was funny and theres your fan support.

Why were they so happy to bring this guy to Washington and show him off after he had caused the deaths of at least 2 people? Maybe he couldn't help it but he did kill those 2. And of course, something went wrong.

I actually don't like them invoking Mulder all the time. Makes it seem like the show can't live without him. I thought they were starting something new this year but all they do is lament DD's absence.

Never had proof before? At the FBI? CSM's little Pentagon store room is filled with stuff M/S recovered. I think they've had plenty of evidence, it just always gets taken away. If they had gone ahead, Kersch would have had Oliver put under wraps and trained him to be an assassin or some kind of covert op. I'd have gone on Leno or Letterman with the guy. I think if we go back and review these last 9 years (and its too early in the morning for me!) we'd find a few eps that have some definitive proof in them. I'll post back with my findings if I wake up more.
