Now I got the impression that between Doggett and Reyes and/or Mulder and Scully, they were going to protect Gibson. He had asked a question about who was going to take care of him (or something like that) and he was told that they were going to protect him. I think he and Mulder can communicate both verbally and with ESP.

Somehow I think that Mulder's ESP or brain activity has returned but he knows how to control it. Billy Miles and club seem to be controlled by an outside force. I wonder if the metal in their bodies acts as a giant receiver of some sort. It controls their activities and thoughts as well as tells them where to go. Maybe that's how they all communicate--aliens supposedly use ESP or someother sort of brainwave transmission to speak to each other.
