Yes I was disappointed that William now belongs to someone else and that prevents M and S from ever getting him back; and all the time they will miss with him and being a family. [IG stance here but I understand where she is coming from in this respect.] I agree that Scully giving up this miracle child was a bit ridiculous. I understand that she had no choice and was deathly scared for his life. I do think that she had no choice from that stance. I don't believe she did it because it was too hard for her because it wasnt'. She had Mum there minding him and helping her etc. I do really think that she thought if he stayed with her he would end up dead or the exhaulted leader of the aliens. I was slightly disappointed and more surprised that William was gone just through boring old adoption. I was expecting alien intervention of some sort. I got a real shock about the adoption.

I think the Bady Bunch show was really a stupid show to put on straight after Scully "lost" her baby. She did mention something about more important things when someone said they were sorry she didn't get the evidence for a prize. And the way she light -heartedly spoke about Mulder......odd after giving up his child. Very silly of CC to put that on after William.
