with that response! It would have been good to hear what she had to say. I liked the way Scully could tell people like Colton where to go and what to do with themselves when they got there! She wasn't afraid to mince words when it was called for.

There was a time when I wondered if Scully decided that she was there to "rescue" Mulder rather than just spy on him. She was in a position to justify and validate his theories, investigations and conclusions when at all possible. (Just don't as her to "do" crop circles! ;-)
