While I am watching I think of things I am going to say here but when I sit down to write.....I forget.

First off, I don't think Scully was being bitchy at all. I think she took the responsibility for the trip. Bleavins was going to disallow the request but Scully asked to discuss it with Mulder and make a recomendation. Obviously she recomended the trip was worth the bureaus time, because they went. I think she was walking a fine line between her loyalty to the bureau mainstream, and to her building friendship/trust with Mulder. If the trip resulted in no results, it would have been on her head. Ruby was found, her whereabouts was never discovered, but she was found and another murder was solved, giving their expense of the trip some credibility.

And Scully NEVER does wrong....hehehehe.

As for the little boy and the messages he was hearing. I related it to another episode but not the same one as you all did. It reminded me of when Mulder met with the senator and he played Mulder some Bach, then told him that peice was playing through space, as a welcome to earth kind of signal. The senator commented on what the aliens would think of earthlings if they heard that, that we were smart and talented and that earth must be a beautiful place. The signal was later sent back to earth and recieved at the station in Puerto Rico where Mulder ran too. Remember "Greetings from Earth". Anyway, thats what I was thinking, that it was the aliens returning the signal to the boy, who was next to his sister when she was abducted. Possibly they gave his some power to keep in contact. An intergalactic reassurance of some sort.

Better get back to my studys.....will comment on The Jersey Devil later. Want to watch it again tonight, I tried last night but was interrupted to many times.
