Spiritual Notebook 10


These statements should be written in a 180 page spiral notebook (leave a blank line between statements – write on both sides of a page). This should leave many more pages free for more statements to be written in that notebook as you continue reading, learning, and developing as you go through life.

Having a notebook with vital statements and important Scriptures written in it can give you an effective way to keep your mind refreshed and occupied as you look at it repeatedly throughout the day.

God's fences keep you within the bounds of His blessings.
- choose to bless God for the boundaries and for the way they bless you.

The love of God motivates us to live for God.

Live by principle - not preferences.

Patience means awaiting God's time and trusting God's love.

The Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are most worthy of our affections.

We find favor with God and Jesus through believing minds, responsible hearts, and obedient spirits.

The Christian life becomes exciting when we put ourselves in the position where we must stand on the Heavenly Father's promises.

Abundant life comes only to those who move out of their comfort zones to climb higher to Jesus.

Step back and examine your thoughts.

Integrity must be sought and maintained.

Encounters with Jesus:
- unexpected awareness of His presence

Jesus wants saints to be cunning and shrewd.

Godly wisdom is driven by a passionate desire to see God's redemptive hand have complete freedom to work in any situation.

We need to receive the shock of grace before we can hear whatever else the Heavenly Father wants to tell us.

A saint is a person in whom Jesus is happening.

Grace is the Heavenly Father's commitment to change us into the image of His Son Jesus Christ.

Faith is trusting that when I receive from the Heavenly Father and respond that Jesus is going to do something.

Eventually, a saint learns to respond to the power of grace in a mature way.
