Spiritual Notebook 5


These statements should be written in a 180 page spiral notebook (leave a blank line between statements – write on both sides of a page). This should leave many more pages free for more statements to be written in that notebook as you continue reading, learning, and developing as you go through life.

Having a notebook with vital statements and important Scriptures written in it can give you an effective way to keep your mind refreshed and occupied as you look at it repeatedly throughout the day.

In prayer we yield our lives and circumstances to the Lord and trust Him to act in His time and His way.

God tests our patience to enlarge our hearts.

When Jesus is our greatest influence in all of life, He will have His rightful place in our hearts.

Thankfulness is the soil in which joy thrives.

The first step in prayer is to acknowledge or to "know" that God is God. And in that attention, that focus, all else comes into focus.

In prayer, God can quiet our minds.

What are you willing to do to get a better view of Jesus?
