In the Spirit man, saints wrestle with yielding to the will of the Heavenly Father.


Then we saints discover if we really love the Heavenly Father through this struggle over yielding to His will. We do have the ability to yield to Jesus Christ even though we are tempted to yield to the world.


Don't become so attached to the world that a saint pines after the world.


Matthew 6:21 for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.


"The heart will tell every time"

How do you react when what you value is taken away? That shows where your treasure is. A saint shouldn't not be so attached to worldly things that if they are taken away, we can't serve the Heavenly Father due to being too upset.

"The treasure was touched."

Jesus Christ owns us so He comes to affect our treasure if it is not about His Kingdom. Overturn the applecart.

If we feel that what Jesus Christ wants from us is killing us, we saints should recognize that we are supposed to die to self.

"You're supposed to say: 'thank God for the killing'"..."Oh, thank You, Jesus. Glory to God"

For you are crucified with Christ, nevertheless we live (Galatians 2:20)

"If you don't die you can't live for Him."

A seed has to die to bring forth fruit

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

"Because what's happening is that I'm beginning to live differently...bring forth a new kind of fruit."

Our spiritual growth is impaired by loving too many worldly things.

Lay aside the weight and sin that easily besets (Hebrews 12:1)

"Easily beset" means we are too lacking in love for the Heavenly Father to withstand idols making us lose ability to handle tough situations.

"Easily" means it happens too often and happens too quickly.

the enemy distracts saints by using things we idolize to get us saints into the easily beset by sin pattern.

the devil knows how much we give value to those various idols that we consider almost "necessary."

"Don't make anything in the world that important that it competes with your devotion to God."

When the love of God digs deep in our soul, we might still get offended but we won't be so easily overtaken and beset with sinful patterns.

Stop setting your mind on an experience that wraps you up emotionally and even physically in anticipating and longing for the idol type situation or sinful experience.

The love of the Heavenly Father should be the ruling and governing principle of our lives. Rule and navigate us through every situation.

We allow ourselves to be distracted and stray away from the love of God, especially when we are not watching and stressed. Those are the times we have to watch.

the enemy is testing us with what he knows we like.

There is something precious in us that the enemy wants us to trade off.

Saints are saved and have position, 2 Cor 5:17 "we are becoming new." The becoming stage that we're in that we have to be aware of.

The same for provision or anything else.

Remind yourself throughout the day that the Heavenly Father is your supply.

Battles don't mean that we are on the wrong track, battles mean that we are on the path. Heaven is a place for overcomers.

Just because you got conflict doesn't mean what the Heavenly Father wants you to have is not yours.

The Heavenly Father has given us saints things that don't seem ours, but we saints must stand our ground and not be shaken by any kind of opposition but grounded in grace.

If you’re not careful, here’s what he’ll do: he’ll throw some circumstances in front of you – and that’s what he wants you to focus on: “well here’s what you believe but look at all the things that happened - how could you possibly believe that? “

“Because my Father has your circumstances, satan, under His control. That’s why I can believe it. I don’t have to yield to your circumstances – doesn’t make any difference.”

The important aspect for saints to keep in mind everyday and continuously throughout the day

1. Dwelling in the strong Tower of the Holy Name of Jesus Christ

2. Starting the day speaking life and victory and protection

3. Understanding what Jesus Christ has for a saint is our possession

4. Understanding trouble don’t last always

5. Focus on Jesus Christ training us saints at all times

6. Straight and narrow path decision making

7. Circumstances should not be allowed to deceive

8. Declare dependance on the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ at all times (especially for joy, vibrant refreshing love, victory, provision, favor, wisdom, peace, breakthrough)

9. Stay in surprises expected mentality

10. Overcome evil with good type of progress more and more

11. Job 1:22 avoid charging the Heavenly Father when you are in tough situations – watch tongue and reactions

12. Recognize when a new day begins and start over appopriately with that in view.

13. Luke 14:28 – 35 remember that learning the “costs” seemingly causes a change of mentality somewhat:

Want to lead? You will be a servant (Mark 9:35, 10:44)

Want Kingdom benefits? You will suffer (Philippians 1:29, 2 Timothy 2:3)

Overcoming evil with good seems like a good idea/strategy/goal? Then you might find out how exactly that might have to be accomplished (which most likely won’t seem all that easy (Matthew 24:12)
