In reply to: Corath 's message, "The great bronze dragon turned, and streached out his wings in the clearing. Upon hearing hoofbeats, he turned his head to the soud //Kou?// It wasn't. The dragon snorted, but was concerned, this new person seemed troubled. He shuffled nearer. //Is something bothering you?// He asked softly." on 09:58:28 04/29/02 Mon

He shivered slightly, more from the cold then anything, until the voice sounded in his head.
It sounded so natural at first, so much that it was welcome, then in the same instant he rebeled, his whole mind reeled, fought against it.
So foriegn at the same time!
He groped for the words, his tongue thick and heavy in his mouth.
When he did find the words to speak, they cleaved the air, clumsy, quick, and soft.
"Leave me 'lone."
He said, nearly cursing, fumbling for the dagger he had inadvertently dropped when the voice had entered his mind.
Kain appeared suddenly from between to comfort his obiviously distressed master but when he was roughly pushed away he blinked between again hurt.
Zion appeared nextly, but instead of comforting his master, he gently nudged the dagger into Greythorn's hands, then landed softly on his shoulder, cringing, crooning pleasantly.
Greythorn sighed, relaxing slightly, and slid the dagger once more into his belt and cursed under his breath at how charming firelizards were.
For a spilt moment, everything was momentairly forgotten.
But it was foolish to think it would remain that way, and quickly the emptiness returned, even more abhorring at that.
