Hi! It was brought to my attention about a posting on the complex website regarding a board member "on patrol" and in checking it out I discovered you were describing me due to your mentioning the garage door episode. I openly admit to being "the" board member. Most of my "patrols" are "fat patrols" as I am exercising any chance I can get......either by riding my bike in the neighborhood, swimming in the pool or walking the grounds of the complex.

Currently, I am the liason from the board to the Landscape & Architect Committee and in the past have been the contact person regarding the landscaping with TruGreen and admittedly check out the landscaping periodically. In doing so I have brought to Lynda's (TMG) attention for the landscaping contractor various things that need to be taken care of........dead trees, dead bushes, plants in common areas that need more attention, pots that need to be replanted around the clubhouse and pool, problems with sprinkler heads and unashamedly admit to that type of "patrol". I urge all homeowners to do the same.............

Regarding entering your garage, yes, I did go through your open garage door, knock at your back door and mentioned that garage doors are not to be left open, since you had left it open many times for long periods, and did it as a neighborly gesture since you were new to the complex and thought you might feel better about it that way rather than receive an infraction letter that could've been instigated by many others in the complex. I should've gone to your front door and I apologize for that and thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Since we are neighbors and live so close to one another, I realize that everything we do has the potential of impacting everyone around us.....such as the debris from the plants on my deck landing in my front doorway and in your driveway......I take it upon myself to sweep that area periodically as it is "messy" for both of us.

My desire is to interact in a neighborly, friendly fashion and if there is anything I can do to bring that about let me know.........or stop by and have a glass of wine or cup of coffee on my deck!
