Not sure if my recollection of time is right as I seem to remember not being able to disembark at Dubrovnik because of nasty weather . In Fact , I remember the ship being buffeted by wind so badly that the ship was dragging the anchor as we were being blown towards shore . I remember being in Bethlehem on Christmas Eve or Possibly Christmas day on this trip . Very rainy weather . Drove by the Dead Sea but the roads were almost washed out because of the volume of rain and it was hard to tell where the shoreline was because everything was wet . I have thought of that time over the years but it seems like the older we get , the more meaningful these memories become .
I dont know if this is the time or place but I met a very lovely girl on this trip from Worcestershire named Kim . She was a beautiful Blonde girl but her most distinguishing feature at the time was her grape jelly coloured lips because of medication she was taking . I have scoured pictures of students and trips in and around that time but to no avail .I was a very awkward 16 year old and should have kept up with her but didnt . I would love to hear that all has gone well for her in her life . Hopefully this will jog someones memory and could pass on my heartfelt best wishes .Hugs ,Glenn
