T'rus nodded at Meaven's explanation of why she'd introduced him to the Weyrlingmaster. He could feel Wyth sit up and regard Tariath intently.

'Calm yourself, Wyth.'
T'rus knew that already his brown had a temper best not toyed with by any human or dragon. To T'rus, it felt curious to have anyone so protective of him. Only his father had ever defended him aside from himself all this time. Until Wyth entered his life.

-I'm trying to.-
Wyth responded but was still perked to Tariath's little bit of defensiveness. Claws trying to dig into the floor.

"I'm sorry if I seemed short in my words. I hadn't realized that you had mentioned to the Weyrlingmaster about introducing Wyth and I."
T'rus explained to Meaven, hoping to soothe any ruffled feathers on the part of either her or her dragonet. He found none of the usual apprehension of relating to this Lord Holder's daughter. Not like before.
Before Wyth it was always the feeling of stepping on flit shells.
Now, it was not present and the difference felt like a weight lifted from T'rus's shoulders.
