(OOC: It's only been one or two days since the Hatching. I think that's the universal agreement right now.)
Meaven blinked a bit. Tariath grumbled.
What did you do? They both seem unsure and nervous around us. All you did was compliment T'rus and introduce him to T'mele! Common sense. That's what he's missing. And if he evers insults you... Tariath shook her head.
Calm down, Tariath. You and Dell. My 'parents' of the Weyr. Let me handle T'rus. Probably just a mis-understanding. He was a drudge, remember. And I was a Lord Holder's daughter. Meaven reminded her gently.
"T'rus? I'm sorry if I offended you. Tariath seems to be bristling. And if you had already been introduced, that was my fault. It's just habit to introduce two strangers. I had promised T'mele I would introduce him." Meaven explained. "I'm sorry about Tariath. She's very... protective right now. Must have had a chat with Dell." Meaven smiled, trying to make light of the situation. "Do you know who else is up? Many riders just crashed after the Feast. Tariath started to doze off before most of the Hatchlings, so we came up earlier." Meaven asked T'rus.
