Zirrith backwinged into a hover above the Kinia star-stone in order for Tipsie to gain a proper look at the state of the Weyr. Privately, Tipsie blamed herself for the distinct lack of activity and run down nature of the weyr. Her illness that had kept her bedridden for much of the previous season had left the Weyrwoman now, but that did not stop Tipsie from wishing that she had done the right thing in sharng out her duties to her younger riders. The hard work that was now needed could have been prevented. You must not blame yourselfYou must show strong leadership now. Zirrith dear, I intended to do that anyway. It is just a question of how. Do I discuss this with Hirina? Should I call a weyr meeting?
That is for you, and you only to decide.
As usual, Tipsie thought to herself, Zirrith is right. She called Zirrith to land beside the star-rock, thinking time.
Across the weyr bowl, a Green was splashing in the lake, two figures could be seen close by. Tipsie smiled at the green's antics and stettled herself down to watch. When she had decided what to say to them, Tipsie would speak to the green rider.
