There is very little information on each of the over 4,000 Companies that trained at Sampson. You have to remember that these guys were being pushed through a processing plant on their way to their assignments. They were part of the larger machine and were expendable.

What does exist is on un-indexed microfilm that a group of WWII Veterans worked on transcribing in the 1990s and early into the 2000s. Work stopped on this years ago. Only a small percentage of it was ever transcribed and the rest never will be.

About 8 years ago I was asked to look into having it done professionally. The best deal I could find was in India and would have cost over $60,000.

The State now owns the microfilm, along with the museum, so it's a dead project.
