of dangerous territory. The random hummings emitted from Tryn halted abruptly as the realization of where she'd wandered came on full force: the kitchens. First rule at the Harperhall: never go into the kitchens, or you'll be set at doing some menial task. But yet, as she peered around cautiously, it was rather empty, devoid of life. Perfectly safe. Moving lightly, she inspected some rolls; cool, but baked. She snatched one up and then left as hastily as could still be called "dignified." Back in the dining hall, she slid onto one of the benches and slowly ate the roll with relish. For the last month, all she'd been eating was whatever wild fruits she could find, and hardly anything baked. And as the roll disappeared, she mused over what to do next.
