Femme and golden dragonet entered imperiously, both with sweeping strides, considerable achievement for a hatchling. Tryn, after picking up one of the meat-laden trays with a grunt, plopped down on the floor beside Falanth. Piece by piece, the chunks of wherry disappeared into the gold's maw, at an almost alarmingly rapid pace.

Falanth grumbled, but complied. Tryn guessed she was slowing anyway--she'd eaten a lot, and soon she would be getting tired.
I'm tired.
Right on cue. Tryn's grin split her face as the femme rose, setting the much lighter platter back on the table. "Come then, let's head to the barracks."
