She hears the Weyrwoman's message from her position in the kitchen doorway and nods lightly to herself. It did make sense, after all. She herself hadn't even gotten the chance to see the Hatching Sands at all...recalling her course of the day, she rememberd arriving in the Weyr Bowl, stopping at the Weyrling Barracks, then coming directly into the Dining Hall. Taking a quick glance out the window, she realizes she's been there for quite a while.

She rather liked the thought of coming on the Hatching Sands for the first time when the clutch was hatching...two surprises in one. She'd of course like to view the area from above first, just to get a slight idea of where she'll be going.... She's brought back from her course of thought as Nien pricks her ear lightly. "Yes, I suppose I should start passing things around," she says, grinning and picking up one of the heaped baskets of rolls and carrying it up to the head table.
