:: He was making for the exit, completely ready to let Jeleta have the last dragon. He had every intention of walking away. In fact, the last thing he saw was her Bonding with it. He couldn't help but feel a great longing in his heart, but then... ::
-Bonded!-
:: He nearly tripped over himself as he turned, so deeply caught up in emotion that they were almost pure black. He paused and looked down at the drake, trying to figure out what seemed different. He was blue...no, he was silver. But he couldn't be both! But there he was, blue with silver swirls. He sat down abruptly, folding the drake into his arms. Where his sister would have cried, he merely stared blankly at nothing, letting the long-expected rainbow wash over him. Finally, at last, he had his Raidon. He didn't recall hearing the drake say his own name, but he must have, for it was so burned into his mind. Like finding his otherself. That's how he'd have to describe it if others asked- for how could one describe it? The colors, the ones invisible to the human eye, finally became known as he looked through his Bonded's eyes. But as he did so, he noticed something. He searched, and kept looking some more. ::
"Raidon...do you-"
:: He stopped and furrowed his brow. When he said it, he could hear himself clearly, yet when listening through Raidon, he heard nothing. He must be deaf. He tried again. ::
'Raidon, you can hear this, right?'
:: The dragon laughed slightly, unfurling his wings to dry. ::
-Of course I can, Dalton. Now, can we eat...?-
:: Dalton sighed and gave the drake one last pat on the head before standing. ::
-Only after I congratulate the lady who Bonded with your twin. Somehow I think we won't be losing connection anytime soon...-
