Would the language be one of Tolkiens, like Quenya?

I would love for the language to be Quenya; I am trying to study that language. It is a bit hard doing it by myself, but I'll get it eventually. :) :)

As for language, I think we should go ahead and decide on that. English could be our common tongue and we could have several Elvish languages, although I think that might be best served with a lot of Elves rather than just a few (we'll most likely start out with a few Elves, and our population will slowly grow). So we could either use one of Tolkien's languages or make one up. If we use one of Tolkien's, I would suggest Quenya, since it is complete. Sindarin, to the best of my knowledge, is not a complete language. If we make one up, we would have to start on it right away. To be perfectly honest, I do not know enough about languages to get all the semantics and things right. I pretty much know the basics, but we would need a few people that know what they're doing in this area. Another idea would be to make ourselves an extension of the Silver Elves and adopt their language. However, I think the Silver Elves are a tribe of their own, and should have the privilege of keeping their own language. They have a beautiful language, don't get me wrong!!! They are the ones that gifted me my last name. But if we want to further the Elven kingdom, we should probably have our own language (whether Tolkien or made up)

This all boils down to, What will be the Language(s) of the Elven City. Who will teach them? At what age Will any children reaised here learn them? How will they be taught?
