i know--it's tough as hell, and so many people don't appreciate it.

ABSOLUTELY!!! my tolerance for processed foods has gone WAY down. i used to be able to eat sugar and white flour. i tried eating sugar again a few months ago--I GAINED 17 1/2 POUNDS IN 3 WEEKS!!!!! and i still haven't lost it, despite being back off sugar for almost 3 months now. my body is STUBBORN!!!!!

that is VERY TRUE!!! i lost 70 lbs a couple of years ago. it was great, but ultimately, it was still my life, you know??? it was nice to be smaller, but that's all it was--nice. not miraculous, not life-changing, just nice. i WAS glad for the improvement in my health, though.

i did the SAME THING!!!!! i weighed 180, was a size 18, and i was GORGEOUS!!!!! now i'm still gorgeous ;-) but now i weigh 275. my top was 314. i felt better about myself at 314 than i did at 180--isn't that SAD?????

good luck with your niece, honey!!! poor little thing.
