Subject: Rudeness and weight

Why is it that some people, when they are mad at a fat person, have to call use their weight to insult them? I am on a debate mailing list with Egroups, it's called abortiondebate2, but we talk about everything under the sun. Anyways, there's one woman (and I use the term loosely) there who I just do not get along with. I had her on block for a long time, but then cleared out my filters because the list was getting rather long (mostly from spammers) and decided to leave it like that for a while. For the longest time, she didn't post much and I just read them and deleted (nothing directed to me), then over the past day, she started calling me names based on my weight, calling me fat and ugly etc. I said "no, I'm beautiful" and she said she'd seen my picture. I've never sent my pic over that list, though a long time ago on another list, I did give out my website URL. I ended up blocking her again and then next thing I know one of her "buddies" has sent my picture to the list. Now, besides being a major invasion of privacy, it's also a violation of copyright, so I reported her to Egroups and also wrote to the list moderators. I'm hoping somebody will take action. But my point is, ok, we don't like each other, that happens, but why does she have to bring my weight into it???? She's done the same thing with another woman on the list who is fat and has stated so in the past. Heck, I can give and take in insults department, but there are some lines I will NOT cross, physical appearance being one of them!

Sorry, am just venting, I'm really upset by this. Thanks for listening, everyone.
