Subject: Moseley Supporters Player of the Season 2010-2011 Author: MSA [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: "Wed, Mar 09 2011, 19:16:15 GMT" Now that we know the date of our last home game of the season we have set the timescale for voting for the Moseley Supporters Player of the season. The award, Lionel Moriaty Golden Boot, shall be awarded to the winning player after the final home game of the season against Plymouth Albion on Saturday 16th April. Voting shall begin this Friday (11th March) to coincide with our first playoff game, away against Plymouth Albion. Voting will then end at midday on Thursday 14th April. The way you vote this year has slightly changed. The main vote will be available from the MSA website, find the link on the homepage. For all those without an Internet connection, a ballot box will be available in the clubhouse, on the MSA table, for the two home playoff fixtures against Birmingham & Solihull and Esher. There are, of course, a few rules. - One vote per person only. - Voters must have seen Moseley 1st XV play more than once this season. - Non Internet users can vote at the first two home playoff fixtures against Birmingham & Solihull and Esher using ballot papers provided (please do help your friends by ensuring that any supporter you know, who is not an Internet user, is aware of this) - Eligible players are those who have played for the 1st XV in the 2010/11 season up to and including 10th April 2011. These can be found online and on the reverse of the ballot paper. - Closing date is Thursday 14th April at midday. Any votes received after this time shall not be counted. The MSA would like to say a huge thank you to Roger Hildreth, John Clayton, Bryan Skeeles, Terry Davies and Dave Bettis for running the award whilst the MSA was away. But what I'm really hoping (for the good of the club) is that one or two of the other backs will play some blinding rugby in the play-offs and perhaps nick it from them.
