Moseley have signed Dan Sanderson (Northampton dual reg with Bees) and Jamie Hearn (Stourbridge). A wonderful start to the squad building.

Now who was it who was criticising the management only a short while ago?

I commented a few weeks ago how I hoped we could sign Sanderson. He was one of the stand out players in the bees game.I can see him and Lyons as a very formidable second row in the season to come. Of course with great back up from the legend that is stotty.

I think he came on very well last season and I see in MM he won "most improved player". He would go well with Sanderson as well.

I agree Kevin. Spivey played well towards the end of the season. I think Lyons quietly got on with his job all season long though. But we now have a few combinations we can try. A very solid second row for the club!

A lighthouse for the 2nd row and a whippet for the back 3. Well done "der management" and welcome Dan and Jamie.

Oh so Lyons is on the way out according to the Mail? So it will have to be Sanderson, Spivey and Stotty competeing for the places then.

I have to admit I went to watch Stourbridge at Rosslyn Park (sorry - my only none Moseley match last season). Jamie Hearn impressed with a second half try, but I don't remember if he was playing at full back or on the wing.

Stour came back from 23-0 down at half-time, to win 32-23. In fact when they got going (eventually) most of the team impressed me hugely. Clearly a good hunting ground for new players, as Ally Muldowney proved.
