However, I will try very hard NOT to let my heart overule my head next season in my expectations about the quality and anticipated performances levels untill the season is well under way. Normaly one would says "Once bitten, twice shy". Sadly, with regard to Moseley in the last two seasons that is somewhat questionable. Our season was not helped by playing the vast majority of our regular season home games before December last time, so by the time Bevon was ready, Olly was back and the rest of the squad had settled in we had already found ourselves towards the bottom of the league. The opening gamnes last season against Esher had all the portents of what was to come in those few months. (Although having said that against the pirates we did okay, and I think against Wuss at home we played pretty well) I guess sometimes reality and perception can be different.
