How Horrible. People are so cruel. First see if your nephew would be willing to surrender all his dogs to you. Second, tell your family members if they hurt those dogs they could be arrested for animal cruelty (if the dog/s die they could spend 4+ years in jail). If none of this works see if your state has an SPCA like organization that has the authority to remove the dog's from your nephews area. Also educate your nephew as to the fact that what he's doing is against the law and that breeding his dogs will create problems for him. Also contact the Humane Society of the United States www.hsus.com and see if they have any suggestions. Remember, these dog's may be too aggresive to rehome and may have to be put down, but your nephew should at least be prosecuted and pay for what he did and if the dog's were aggressive you would be doing the most humane thing by having them put to sleep so that they will not suffer any further. Get to work and thanks for caring!
