At Brisbane's recent Annual Combined Exotic Plant Show one seller sold numerous Aloe polyphylla so they are available. They are cloned (tissue cultured) so you will need a plant from another clone to allow cross fertilisation for seed set. I bought one plant that I intend to grow on. These plants require rather cool moist conditions. They are a highland species.
Suggest you try the new Aust forum.

I will try to locate a plant for you.
