As a moderator on the Yahoo mesembs list, I am curious why there seems to be so little input and knowledge about mesembs in Australasian C&S internet circles. Are there no experienced or even very keen mesemb growers here in the antipodes? Or perhaps the question should be. Why is there is so little Internet communication among these people if they are 'out there' somewhere?
There are currently invitation-only forums for experienced or very keen hobbyists that includes those interesting people working on Aizoaceae in various scientific fields. Yet so far, only one Australasian appears on such a forum. Cheers Didge
