Regarding Kaya's note below, I answered her questions via email.

Everyone should have their funding secured by now. The business office at my school called me and asked for verification that I recieved the grant. They recieved the funding but had to go through verification before they could disburse the funds to me. I will receive it in my June 16th pay. If you have not finalized your funding from your school, I suppose you could contact Carole.

I talked with Adam Bryant, our webmaster at NRCC, about making this site available to everyone. The whole site will fit on a floppy disk. I could mail the disk to everyone. First, however, I am going to zip the site up into one file and make it available for downloading. The file will unzip by itslelf when it is opened. I will make a link to it from our home page. We will see if this works.

I am willing to help everyone have all the features I have on my course Web sites. By using our grant Web site as a template I can help you with whatever features you want.

If anyone has any ideas for additional features for a course Web site I look forward to hearing from you. For example, I still have not solved the problem of testing online. If anyone has any ideas, some help would be appreciated. To start with, I am thinking of having students come into our Learning Lab and take the tests from the computer. The only difference would be that they would be using a computer instead of hard copies. I know of several schools that are doing all of their testing online and allowing students to do it from home. A common technique is to make the test open book and time the session. In other words, the program would cut off after a specified time period. I know of one school that requires their students to come onto campus to take the comprehensive final exam. Does anyone have any thoughts about this? (I sure wish this thing had a spell check-)
