'And so two lives become one an accursed act that seals the fate of all. Destiny has come'
*Slowly the silver wolfess made her way into the deeply dug den, pelt shimmering in the dim doorway as soft whimpers of pain and near excitement could be heard. Mist had come here in hopes of finding Band, yet optics of steel blue turned up nothing more then a bare and unused floor. Sigh twas emitted; yet it soon died. Rounded barrel turned about with some slight ease as the female tried to position herself better. This seemed difficult, harder then before and there lay this nearly tangible sense about the fea' as she lay upon the rugged floor. Sides heaved and breath came slightly harsh before silence was heard within the blackened lair. And then...
Life was brought forth as one after another-small beings were laid upon the floor beside that of their mother. The first a rather large male, his coat the darkest of blacks, the second a slightly smaller female of alabaster hues thorns dipped in the hue of ink a long with her patchy tail, and finally that scrimp of the group. A small yet rather beautiful female of silver like hues much like her mother was brought forth, the litter numbered three. Three lives, three souls, and yet...there was more.
Silver Mist gave a relieved sigh of relief as the pain reduced and faded away, bodice raised to nudge first one then the next of the pups. Cleaning them with ease and tenderness, yet no sooner had the female cleaned the pups then something caught her eye. The raven male was different. Not only in size and color, but also in his appearance in general. Quizzical look was given the other two noticing nothing twas wrong with either of them. Maybe it was something he'd grow out of. And with this for the time the thought was pushed away...for now.
Harks perked alert and cautious, for she could not bear to have a single thing happen to her and Band's pride and joy, but that left a loud and yet unspoken question. Where was Band? He'd all but vanished upon thin air. Whimpering softly to the pup's as they began to feed she gave a sigh and rested her dial down next to that of the smallest whelp, making sure it was given the chance of food as the others, herding them off whenever they pushed her away*
"And from the wretched wolf litter, a black pup is born who isn't a wolf at all."
