Any ideas why Encore Westerns is not showing the episodes in the order they were aired?

I'm hoping they don't skip episodes. They are constantly doing this with Rawhide & other series. It is especially confusing to me as Hallmark aired all of the Rawhide episodes years ago, and the early seasons are available on DVD [i.e. Encore Westerns didn't show half the Rawhide episodes from 1960 thru 1962; all are available on DVD].
