hi ladies ...

well, i'm glad at least some of you are keeping up on the message board. it's nice to see messages from my girls when i check the board. anyway, i haven't been able to check my email this week b/c the security on this computer ... oh well, it's not a big deal. today julien and i went to carcassone; which he tells me is the largest castle in europe. it was great ... really beautiful. then we were close enough, so we drove to the beach ... the mediterranean is a bit chilly this time of year (don't worry, we weren't swimming ... WAY too cold for that). we just walked down the beach and picked up a few sea shells.

tonight we had dinner at his grandparents house. the conversation was very animated and the food ... ah! AWESOME. i wish you all could come over here and eat french food with me ... i'm going to have to watch myself or i won't be able to run anymore because i will be too fat. okay, okay, i'm just kidding.

i talked to my "french mother" tonight and told her what time my train comes in tomorrow. praise god, she speaks english! granted, i do want to learn french, but it will be nice to have english to fall back on when i absolutely have no idea what i want to say. good luck on all your meets and i hope to keep hearing from all of you!!
