This was an ok ep.

In "Parting Gifts", we had Cordy mourning for Doyle, and this was Angel's turn. We get hints from both Angel and Wesley about their childhoods. The A/C scenes were relaxed and comfortable, like the brownies, her prodding him into sharing his feelings about Doyle, and researching the book together. And my favorite, when Angel says "it was full of roasty goodness", it's cute to hear him speak like her. You can kind of see them all asserting themselves in this ep.

I liked this ep. The A/C/W interaction was great. We also got some great A/C stuff. We got to see Angel dealing with Doyle's death and some insight into Angel and Wes', childhood and father issues.

I think the creepiest thing about this ep. was the fact that the kid was the true evil.

This was a mediocre episode. I didn't care for the over-all story line but I enjoyed the group interaction. I liked how Cordelia talked so casually about the exorcism. "Angel? Are we expecting any big vomiting here? 'Cause I've seen the movie." It just shows how use she is getting to demon gore.

I love the A/W/C interaction in this episode. I also like the part where the demon kid is talking with Wesley about his issues. One thing I have to say with watching all of these old episodes is how much more I want A/C to get together. I just makes me worry that if they don't how seriously pissed off and depressed I will become.

Overall an okay episode.

I loooove the scene in the kitchen (Cordelia put down the very sharp knife). I also loooove the scene in Angel's office where he opens up to her, this is a really beautifull example of how deep thier friendship has become. This ep gives us our first hint of Wes' unhappy childhood and is when I really started to like and feel sympathy for the guy. Another scene I love is in the shop. this was just a hoot (would you like it gift wrapped?). Not a great ep overall but some wonderful insites into the characters and some great development of their relationships with each other.

I just have to say that I REALLY wanna get in on these 'walks' but *sniffle* I haven't seen a single S1 ep of Angel in FOREVER! Since like, oh, when they first aired... And even then most of S1 I missed. *another sniffle* When do we get to one's I've seen recently? LOL

PS Don't mind me, I'm just in a complain-y mood tonight =) I'll get over it. Toodles.

Unfortunately, season 1 aired when I still thought people who taped every ep of a TV show were silly.

Well, who has all of season 2 and 3 on tape.

Anyway, reading transcripts (something you guys started) has helped to refresh those wonderful memories in my mind. But I still want to *see* it all.
