Well oil beef hooked,
as the Scot said.

I don't know what happened there. I tried to dend that posting, and it was as slow as JC's second coming. So I gave it a couple of more clicks for good measure. I came back to this forum about an hour later, and there was no sign of 'em. So I assumed the "Deux et Machina" had been at work, and they had gone to - write only - memory.

You didn't mention "Sandy Creek". In driving all over this country I have no idea how many of them I have seen. I must make a count one day. I find most of the little creeks you cross on the highway, don't appear on any maps I own. When you think that each of them has two signs naming them. How many thousands of dollars have been wasted on such signs?

One good name, is one of my favourite single malt Scotch Whiskies. "Glen Garioch" pronounced "Glen Geery". Good Gallic name. Neece wee dram on a coullld nicht, laddie.

Regards......Ralph.
