Thanks for posting a warning for girls out there looking for international pageants!" on 16:06:00 11/08/11 Tue In 2007 they gave the directorship to MTCI, stated in an email that they were the only ones they offered the directorship to, so MTCI talks to a delegate, gets her parents permission etc. gets the ball rolling then hears through the press that another girl is claiming to be the Canadian representative then all of a sudden the story changes to 'we asked a lot of people its not our fault that its so popular' and left MTCI twisting in the wind and the delegate they had selected crushed because she thought she was going to Australia to represent Canada. It caused a lot of grief for the organization, for the girl and caused unnecessary stress between some national pageant organization that didn't need to be there. They blame the whole situation on their national director in Australia, and keep bothering them. MTCI wont have anything to do with them but I do a lot of stuff independently so I thought I might give them a chance....what a joke! I have dealt with a lot of international pageants and nothing they do is 'normal'. Let them keep on dealing with the other crazy sham pageants, they are suited for each other.
