If she honestly, truly believes that at 5'4" she can win MUC, then she is in for a rude awakening. However, if she is going for the experience so that she can say she participated, then there's no harm in that. I'm sure the girl is bright enough to know from past years results that she won't win. She's just promoting herself in the best way possible to her local media. I'm sure she doesn't want to come out and say to the people supporting her: "Sorry! Just going for the experience.
