Wouldn't there be issues with the real Miss International pageant?" on 12:53:52 06/08/09 Mon is one of the typical american pageants that take girls from all over the usa and give them a title according to thier heritage, sometimes they are from other countries, but typcially not. I believe Mrs Canada last year was from Texas lol. The state titleholders compete against the 'international' titleholders in one event. Miss California against Miss Germany for the same title. (Even though Miss Germany may have never even been to Germany and doesnt know a lick of German). I actually sent a delegate once, they asked me not to send anyone 'like her' again proceeded to rip her apart to me...I stopped all communication with them! Then they took the same delegate back the next year....so ya, they are concerned with numbers only. Oops didnt intend to turn this into a bashing!! lol Miss Canada International does not send thier winner on to an international pageant as a part of the title, they are a scholarship pageant. Subject Author Date The Canadian reps for the Mrs Intl in the US for the past 2 years were from Canada. Before that, there have been a few from the US. 2 years ago, the Miss delegate was from Canada - other years, I have no idea.
