yes some may do it for the experience. but those who compete in the same pageant more than twice is in it to win. they think if they have a more expensive gown or be a bit thinner, or more toned they will have a better chance. first couple times is an experience, after that it is an interest to win. i understand if you were a finalist before, and you know where you need to improve in. but i think after three times its just sad and pathetic. and i dont mean just nationally, but also locally. some people will compete in local pageants 3,4,5, or even 10 times. is it worth doing? -- Canadian Pageant Fans' HQ
