Very little has been said on the Canadian board about Jessica Trisko as Miss Earth 2007, but having gone through the Miss Earth website and still remembering that killer answer she gave the night she won ... it makes me think she really is very bright and will someday be very successful. (I'm glad we've had people like her, Natalie and Nazanin represent us.)

Here's the link to the Miss Earth website, http://www.missearth.tv/missearth.html. And I'm quoting a small bit of what was written about here, and it goes ...

During the competition in Vietnam, Jessica quoted that "the waters which touch the shores of any country are the same waters which touch the beaches where I grew up. We don’t realize how close we are as one people, one planet, until we realize this. Every action we take affects every other person on earth. Please keep this in mind and let it be a daily inspiration to live a better, greener life for yourself and for the rest of the earth".

Jessica’s inspiration as Miss Earth 2007 is that belief that we should never stop learning, living, and loving. With this philosophy in mind, Jessica embraces the world and all the experiences it has to offer, including the Miss Earth 2007 title.

i know Jessica having competed with her and still remaining in contact with her and i can absolutely agree that she is VERY intelligent, well travelled and understands pageants and her responsibilities as a role model very well. I wish Canada paid more attention to her because she is a wonderful example of the quality delegates Canada could produce. Jess, congrats on everything you have and will acomplish. I second everything Laxmi said, she couldn't have put it into words any better. I always say that Jessica is the most intelligent young woman I have ever met. I truly hope Canada can continue to develop winners like Jessica! (And I think Denise G is a great follow up to Jessica) P.S. Hi Laxmi (NT)Lisa Harrigan22:39:32 09/09/08 Tue
