What Was I Supposed To Do

You must have your reasons
For doing the things you do

Where no one can reach you

I kept trying to keep in touch
What was I supposed to do
As the year was almost over
I am longing to hear from you

Still I have continued to write
It something I needed to do
As the weeks passed on by
I was feeling lost without you

As I remember all we shared
I was hoping you would too
Still I wonder are you aware
