When you love someone with a pounding heart so full
That every pulsing beat calls out
With faithful trust that warms you through and through
It makes you want to jump for joy and shout.

Oh such happiness is based on lovers bond
When gentle words are shared between the two
When every doubt is cancelled with a kiss
And every smile is born like morning dew.

When you love someone regardless of the day
And storms approach to cloud your gleam of light
Just hold on to each other come what may
And soon the darkness fades throughout the night.

When you love with all that you can give, and more
Then even angels sing their praise with tears
And suddenly, each shooting star does soar
Proclaiming a lasting love with golden cheers.

So, when you speak of love in whispered voice
Remember that it fills the hungry heart
For love starved souls exhibit little choice
They stand before you willing from the start.

When you love someone make sure it is for real
Don't say the words unless they flow so true
It must be more than kisses that you feel
When the words you speak are simply " I Love You".
