An Angel I Call My Friend

Being just like an angel to me
She has been a godsend
The gifts in which I treasure
Came from the heart of a friend

A friend who I know I can trust
My secrets I could share
Reassurance she has given
Her thoughts continue in prayer

Her support and understanding
Has been comforting me
Knowing I could always rely
Upon their kindhearted sincerity

With so many meaningful ways
Their loyalty I can depend
It reminds me I am not alone
There is an angel I call my friend
