Writing From The Heart

I wonder will they remember
Perhaps they have forgot
Would it be any use writing
I was thinking maybe not

Whilst thinking of them often
Have they thought at all
Many memories I cherished
How much do they recall

If by going those extra miles
Heading in their direction
When writing from my heart
Will there be a connection

If I send thoughts their way
I wonder will it be in vain
Will their silence be broken
If I happen to write again
