I Know His Reason Why

Because of circumstances
He wrote occasionally
Still I noticed the difference
Of what he used to be

I recognised a few changes
Nothing ever precise
He would occasionally write
Just enough to suffice

Many occasions I can recall
He added an apology
I always hoped to hear more
Someday I will maybe

He has to deal with so much
I know his reason why
Having explained his silence
He says its not goodbye
