Yesterday
My skies where always cloudy and gray
There was no sunshine in my day
The moon never shined at night
And the stars had a very dim light
The rains were always flooding my heart
And my veins felt like they were filled with ice
Hardening my inner being
Wanting to end my existence
But yesterday there wasn't you
Today
My skies are filled with sunshine
The skies twinkle brightly in the moonlight
Your love runs through my veins
The smile has come back to my face
For I feel I can face another day
For yesterday I was ready to give up
But today I am filled with your love
Tomorrow
We will feed and nurture
Looking towards our future
Walking together through life
Taking everything into strife
Not knowing our future
But I will remain
At your side
