Reasons To Write

Removing barriers
Emotions need to flow
I must think positive
From days feeling low

I began once again
After a few pages torn
Heard birds singing
This warm sunny morn

The need to ascend
As negatives disperse
Upon the bright side
I urged myself to verse

Having to start over
With heart taking flight
Remembering why
Gave reasons to write
